CHD College Basketball Top 25

We’re rolling out our first Top 25 here at CHD.  We don’t get a vote in either poll, so we made our own vote count.  Duke number 1, Indiana number 2?  Really?

Explanation below.

1. Duke (8-0)
It’s hard not to go with the Devils in this scenario.  At 8-0 and one of the best Duke teams we’ve seen in a while, they’ve run the gauntlet and come away unscathed.  Wins over Kentucky, Louisville and Ohio State make them the best in this young season.

2. Indiana  (8-0)
Indiana is a close second to Duke but doesn’t have the marquee wins.  They whipped a rebuilding Carolina team and a better-than-expected Georgetown team.  Indiana is still impressive, but needs a few marquee wins (or a Duke loss) to skip to the top.

3. Michigan (7-0)

4. Florida (6-0)

5. Syracuse (6-0)

6. Louisville (6-1)

7. Ohio State (5-1)

8. Gonzaga (8-0)

9. Cincinnati (7-0)

10. Arizona (5-0)

11. Missouri (6-1)

12. Kansas (6-1)

13. Illinois (8-0)

14. Minnesota (8-1)

15. Georgetown (5-1)

16. New Mexico (8-0)

17. San Diego State (6-1)

18. Creighton (7-1)

19. Michigan State (6-2)

20. UNLV (5-1)

21. North Carolina (6-2)

22. Notre Dame (7-1)

23. Virginia Tech (7-0)

24. Oklahoma State (5-1)

25. Wichita State (8-0)
