Players to Watch: New Mexico St. Sim Bhullar

In the NCAA tournament we get a chance to see players we may not have seen during the regular season.  There are several players every year that are some of the best in the land, but don’t have the chance to play for a team that is always on television.

Sim Bhullar is one such guy.  SB Nation has a great article up, complete with gifs from the game.  Bhullar is huge at 7′ 5″ and 355 pounds.  Nope, that isn’t a typo.

Bhullar is a freshman at New Mexico State from Canada and is a huge load.  He rang up a double-double in the WAC conference championship, helping New Mexico State punch their ticket to the big dance.

Bhullar is one not to miss if nothing else because he is the biggest player we’ve seen in the tournament since Shaq, minus a little bit of agility.  The big upside is that he is only a freshman and we haven’t heard the last of him.
